Orders

How do I place an order?

Simply browse www.toysforapound.com at your leisure, using the "Add to Cart" button to add the desired items to your shopping basket. You can edit the "Quantity" field either on the page or whilst the item is in your shopping basket.

Can I add to or change my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been submitted and payment has been made, we're unable to make any alterations. However, if you drop us an email at info@toysforapound.com we will be able to cancel your order so that you can re-purchase the desired items/quantities.  Please note, we may not be able to help if the order has already been processed and dispatched.

Can I choose which item I will receive if it's listed as "Assorted"?

Unfortunately, if a product has the description "Assorted" or "Assorted. One Supplied", we're unable to guarantee which colour/design/character/style you will receive. Our warehouse staff are instructed to send alternatives if multiples are purchased, however this is not always possible.

Can I cancel my order?

After you have placed your order, we promptly start to process it. However, if you drop us an email at info@toysforapound.com before it has been sent through to our warehouse for prep, we will be able to cancel it for you.

The address is incorrect on my order, what do I do?

Our system generates the shipping label based on the address provided by the customer at the time of checkout. If you've just placed your order and notice an error in the address, please contact us immediately at info@toysforapound.com with the correct shipping address. We will do our best to update it for you as soon as possible.

However, if your order has already been processed and dispatched to an incorrect address, regrettably, we are unable to intercept it. In such cases, you may need to arrange retrieval from the incorrect address or wait for it to be returned to us as the sender. Please note that we will not be held responsible for orders dispatched to an incorrect address after processing. We strongly advise double-checking your shipping details before finalising your order to ensure accurate delivery. If you'd require the order to be re-dispatched, you would need to pay the shipping charges again of your choosing.

Do I get an invoice with my order?

You can request a VAT invoice from us via email. As many of our orders are purchased as gifts and to reduce our paper-footprint, we don't include any invoices within the parcel itself.

There is a problem with my order. Can you help?

Yes, of course. If there are any issues with an order you have received, please get in touch with us via email at info@toysforapound.com and one of our friendly customer service agents will be able to resolve this for you.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Delivery For Christmas

  • DPD Next Day: 19th December by 2pm
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: 20th December by 2pm
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: 23rd December by 12pm

All express orders placed before 2pm are processed the same working day and standard orders up to 2 working days. Our warehouse is closed over the weekend, so any orders placed Friday would not be dispatched until the following week.

Can I have my order shipped to an address different from my billing address?

Yes, you may request an alternative shipping address during checkout.

Can I track my order?

Yes, all of our delivery services include a tracking number which will become available shortly after dispatch.

My tracking information doesn't seem to be working?

Please do refer back to our recommended delivery times. Even if you have been assigned a tracking number, this will not always mean the parcel has left us. Once your parcel has been dispatched, it can take a short amount of time for the Track & Trace portal to update.

Returns

I've changed my mind. How can I return an item that I've ordered?

If you would like to return an item, please get in touch via email at info@toysforapound.com. You will be responsible for the shipping charges incurred for returning an unwanted item to us. Please also refer to our detailed Returns Policy.

What do I do if the item is faulty or doesn't work?

If you would like to return a faulty item to us, please get in touch via email at info@toysforapound.com. We will assume responsibility for shipping charges incurred for returning a faulty item to us.
